Made to Order
Media Blackout's Timecode Cable is made for Ambient's timecode protocol that is available on most professional devices. Timecode cables can be configured unidirectionally or bidirectionally. Ambient recommends using unidirectional timecode to prevent conflicts between devices.
All Timecode Cables have a 5-pin Lemo on the side of the cable that connects to the Ambient device. The other side of the cable is configurable through the options above. "In" and "Out" configurations are made in respect to the side of the cable that the 5-pin Lemo connects, ie. "into" the 5-pin Lemo Jack, or "out" of the 5-pin Lemo Jack. In/Out cables feature two 5-pin Lemo connectors. Media Blackout can make Timecode cable that have a completely custom configuration; if you would like to get a quote for a custom Timecode Cable, please contact us.
Lemo's Anglissimo connector can be assembled in eight orientations. The red dot represents the keyway and aligns with the red dot on the Lemo jack. Position "5" on the diagram is the way a standard 90 degree Lemo is assembled; away from the keyway. Please note that if you order a cable in position 5 from one of our product pages, we will ship a standard 90 degree Lemo, not an Aglissimo. The view shown below is of the back of the plug:
All Media Blackout cable assemblies use genuine parts and high-quality cable. Cable assemblies are made to order at our office in Culver City, CA. If you need custom assemblies, please contact us.
