Hyperdeck Shuttle Mod
The Media Blackout Hyperdeck Shuttle Mod eliminates many of the frustrations from using the Shuttle, while also adding convenience. the Modification may be performed on any existing Hyperdeck Shuttle or Shuttle 2. Since Blackmagic has discontinued the Hyperdeck Shuttle, we no longer provide new units with modifications already applied. We will still be able to modify clients' existing Shuttles for the foreseeable future.
Modification options include:
- Replace DIN 1.0/2.3 Jacks with BNC Connectors - BNC connectors are too big to be installed in-place of the DIN connectors, so this requires permanent removal of the Shuttle's internal battery; the connectors are then installed opposite of the SSD slot.
- Replace DC Barrel Jack with Lemo Receptacle - DC barrels offer no locking features for the connector, so a 2-pin (0B.302) Lemo connectors is a high-quality, locking replacement. The Lemo can be wired to be pin-1 GND (compatibility with Preston, Teradek, and other cables) or Pin-1 +VDC (compatibility with Bartech, Redrock, and other cables).
- Anton/Bauer Gold Mount Pass-Through - Add a genuine Anton/Bauer Gold Mount battery plate to one side of the hyperdeck and our custom composite 3D printed male Gold mount reinforced with carbon fiber to the other side, allowing the Hyperdeck to mount between a Gold Mount battery and battery plate.

All Media Blackout products that use 3D printed parts carry a 5-year warranty on the printed material. If your 3D printed part warps, cracks, or fails for any reason, we will replace the defective printed part at no cost.
